The Annual Conference Program Committee is an advisory Board Committee, responsible for planning and recommending to the Board of Directors the CALPELRA Annual Conference program held each year in the fall. The Program Committee, with the Board of Directors and Executive Staff, ensures that the Annual Conference offers the training, education, and networking opportunities California's labor relations and human resources professionals have come to expect. 

Volunteer your time and knowledge.

CALPELRA recruits current CALPELRA members to serve on the Committee. Committee members are a balanced mix of individuals from northern, central, and southern California public agencies, as well types of public agencies. Committee members work hard; they're multi-taskers, detail oriented, timely, and  creative, and are dedicated to the advancement of the labor relations and human resources professions. And Committee members form lasting relationships with each other, enhancing their professional development and stature. CALPELRA invites individuals interested in serving on the 2026 Program Committee to share their interest by February 2, 2026. The 2026 Annual Conference Program Chair, Lisa Murphy (City of Salinas), and 2026 Board President, Sonya Morrison (Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority), will select the 2026 Annual Conference Program Committee in mid-February.
